Cooking


Jonah: What ingredients do you use in Chug Bishul?
Camper: We use eggs, boiling oil, pretzels, rolos, flour, and other multiple types of fruits and vegetables.

Jonah: What are you cooking today?
Campers: We are making tempura today.

Jonah: What is your favorite food to make?
Camper: My favorite food to make in Bishul is Tikim Metukim.


Sarah: What are you cooking?
Camper: We're making tempura.

Sarah: What do you like about cooking?
Camper: I make good food and then I can eat it.

Sarah Why do you enjoy teaching?
Sue (Cooking Specialist): I like enjoy seeing people cooking and having fun doing it.

Sarah: How long have you been teaching here at Ramah?
Cooking Teacher: 10 years.




Farming

Jonah: What kind of crops do you grow in Farming?
Camper: We grow basil, watermelon, pumkins, tomatoes, and sunflowers.

Jonah: How long does it take to grow crops?
Camper: It usually takes 2-three months for crops to be fully grown.


Jonah: What are these crops used for?
Camper: We usually give the crops to the kitchen so they can make the food for us or we put herbs into the olive oil to make it scented for the homeless.

Sarah: What are you doing right now?
Camper: We're putting down soil.

Sarah: What do you like about farming?
Camper: I like planting and harvesting.

Sarah: Why do you enjoy Teaching?
Farming Teacher: I like seeing the kids having fun.

Sarah: How long have you been teaching here at Camp Ramah?
Farming Teacher: 2 years.































Ropes Course

Sarah: What are you doing today?
Camper: We're climbing the Alpine Tower.

Sarah: What do you like about ropes course?
Camper: I like climbing the Odyssey.

Mira: Which ropes course have you gone on?
Sam: Low Ropes and the bottom level of the Oddesey
Garret: Low Ropes and the top level of the Oddesey

Mira: Which one was your favorite?
Sam: Oddesey
Garret: Oddesey

Mira: Were you scared?
Sam: A little
Garret: A lot
